Prof Ajith Ananthakrishna Pillai

Prof Ajith Pillai (MD, DM, FIC (Germany) FRCP(Lon) FRCP(Edin) FRCP(Glasgow) FACC, FSCAI) is a very popular and leading interventional cardiologist in India with vast experience in complex structural and coronary procedures. He is well known for his brilliant procedural skills and astute academic approach to complex and high risk interventional procedures. He has phenomenally high success rate(near 100%) on his procedures involving complex anatomy including surgical turn downs with durable outcomes to patients. He has started the LAAO procedures with Lambre devices in the country. His expertise continues in complex in para valve leak closures, complex LAA anatomy and Basilica TAVR and innovative procedures like transcatheter mitral and tricuspid valve repairs and complex carotid stenting.
