Dr Eric CY Wong

Dr Eric CY Wong graduated from The University of Hong Kong and received his Cardiology Fellowship training in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Hong Kong. He underwent his overseas training in Advanced Adult Echocardiography in Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA in 2010-2011. He is currently Consultant Cardiologist in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is the Physician In-charge of the Echocardiography Laboratory, Non-Invasive Cardiac Investigation Service and Cardiac Ambulatory Care Service. He is also the coordinator of the cluster-based 24/7 Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Service for patients suffering from Acute ST-segment Myocardial Infarction.

Dr Wong has developed the Interventional Echocardiography Service for the Structural Heart Disease Program. Since 2014, he has been the Program Coordinator of the Basic Echocardiography Training Course for junior trainee in Multi-Disciplinary Simulation and Skills Center (MDSSC) of Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is currently the Chairman of Hong Kong Public Hospital Cardiologist Association (HKPHCA), Council Member of Hong Kong College of Cardiology (HKCC), Co-convenor of Adult Congenital Heart Disease Chapter of HKCC, and Echo Chapter of HKCC.
