Dr Himanshu Agarwal
Dr Himanshu Agarwal is the Director of the Structural Heart Program and Director of Interventional Cardiology and Cardiac Cath Labs at Creighton University Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. He received his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology training at the esteemed Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. Dr Agarwal’s professional journey spans over two decades, marked by significant leadership roles and contributions to clinical research. He has served as a national advisor to the Structural Heart Governing Council and as National Co-Director of the Structural Heart Clinical Council at CommonSpirit Health, the largest nonprofit health system in the USA. He has participated as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in more than 60 clinical trials and has numerous peer-reviewed publications on TAVR outcomes, LAAO, and coronary intervention strategies, providing valuable insights to the field.
Throughout his career, he has founded and directed several cutting-edge clinical technology programs, including the establishment of valve clinics, TAVR, TEER, LAAO, CTO, CHIP programs, and the PFO Heart Brain Clinic. He has led the creation and deployment of clinical workflows that have significantly grown programs while improving patient outcomes, physician efficiency, and service line revenue.
